Bedok URA Master Plan
Situated in the eastern region of Singapore with great public and private transport connectivity to the city and the airport, Bedok is an established estate with a multitude of amenities, schooling facilities and housing choices.
There are plans to further embellish Bedok with more healthcare amenities, recreational places and housing projects, which include a new precinct named Bayshore precinct. The Singapore Government has plans to have about 6,000 HDB flats and 6,500 private housing units in the Bayshore precinct.
With the opening of Heartbeat@Bedok in the estate, there are more recreational and sporting facilities for residents to use. It has allowed integrated programmes to be organized, which are beneficial for residents.
Heartbeat@Bedok also houses the Bedok Polyclinic and a Senior Care Centre. This, coupled with the addition of a new Eunos Polyclinic, which will house an Eldercare Centre proffering rehabilitation services, will provide residents more options in healthcare services.
There will be a new adventure-theme clubhouse at Bedok Reservoir Park, which will bring more dining and recreation choices to the Bedok estate.
